Routine Induced Insomnia

Humans, for the most part are creatures of habit and more often than not, we find ourselves following the same daily path or routine. We tend to eat three meals every day, breakfast in the morning, lunch in the middle of the day and dinner in the evening. Most of us are at home throughout the night and at our jobs during the day. This certainly isn't the case for everyone... For instance, some people eat just two meals a day, but usually around the same time. Others may work at nights and spend their days at home.

Maintaining a certain amount of order and consistency in our daily activities can go a long way in helping us get the sleep we need on a regular basis. At minimum, establishing a bed time and a wake time are crucial. Things that occur during the day we can deal with as they come up, but always make time for sleep.
